This started per a request from a friend who has developed wheat allergies and who dearly misses the taste of REAL, yeasty wheat bread--which his family can still eat, but he cannot! Torture. He asked if I could come up with something--an almond product that tasted better than most of what is currently available in the market. I gave it a shot.
The taste test outcome: "Oh this is like being born again, so good, nothing like this is available in the market. You can have a sweet almond cake version and then this would be great as bread."
