• 1-1/2 lbs wheat bread, rectangular loaf (wheat flour, water, salt, yeast, and olive oil): there's nothing simple about this basic bread offering--imagine sponginess on top of sponginess in every breadly bite! Great on its own, but at home, we tend to say that that sponginess is designed for soppin-up a blend of rosemary, oregano & ground peppercorns in olive oil; or toasted in a pan with butter (pan tostada).
